The Wolfie Way

As the 2025–26 school year begins, Michigan City Area Schools is proud to launch a new district-wide culture initiative: The Wolfie Way.

The Wolfie Way is more than a slogan—it represents who MCAS is as a school community and how students, staff, and families work together as a Pack. Inspired by our middle and high school mascot, Wolfie, this campaign establishes a fresh, unified identity that reinforces the shared values, expectations, and daily interactions that shape the Michigan City Area Schools experience.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

This initiative builds upon the strong foundation already in place within our schools, fostering a culture of connection, pride, and purpose. It applies to every member of our community: students, staff, families, and partners. Whether in the classroom, on the athletic field, in the office, or out in the community, The Wolfie Way will guide how we learn, work, and lead together.

Aligned with our Strategic Plan and this year’s theme, Next Level, The Wolfie Way supports our efforts to create welcoming environments, foster strong relationships, and build consistency across all schools and departments.

Each school will begin incorporating The Wolfie Way into announcements, celebrations, and everyday language, reinforcing a culture that we can all be proud of.

Because in Michigan City, we’re not just a district, we’re a Pack. One City. One Pack.
