PACK PRIDE Staff Spotlight: Jeff Williamson

PACK PRIDE Staff Spotlight: Jeff Williamson

Meet Jeff Williamson - our Pack Pride Spotlight for March! As MCAS’s Network Engineer, he plays a big role in ensuring technology across the district is running smoothly.

Williamson was nominated by a fellow administrator for his consistent positivity and helpfulness around the building. “Jeff is always quick to jump in and help wherever he’s needed, no matter the situation. He helps create a fun, positive work environment and always keeps his cool under pressure, which makes him someone others can rely on during stressful moments.”

Jeff shared why he always comes to work with a positive attitude. “I hope to always come to work with a positive attitude to ensure that our students and staff can use technology to their benefit daily. Being positive about all aspects of life really makes a bigger difference than most think it does. I hope to spread positivity to all!”

This practice is not out of necessity, but a genuine appreciation for others around him.

“The best thing about working at MCAS is definitely the people. From students to staff, it has always been a welcoming environment to me,” he said. The people have always treated each other like family.”

Jeff is determined to show up each day and give his all, assisting many people as he can in the best manner possible. “My daily motivation is knowing that I am impacting our district for the better.”

And that he does! He is proud to keep the district’s network and technology flowing day to day. “It is hard sometimes for people to understand how much they rely on the network to function throughout the day and everything that connects to it. A network connection has become part of everyone’s daily life and without it, the struggle is real! From laptops to HVAC equipment, everything is connected!”
Jeff’s technical skills only part of what makes him stand out. It’s the character he demonstrates in every interaction.

According to his nominator:

Jeff consistently shows respect, empathy, accountability, perseverance, and flexibility in the way he shows up every day. He treats people with genuine respect, takes the time to listen, and answers questions in a way that never makes anyone feel small or dismissed. He’s dependable and takes ownership of what needs to get done. When something is challenging, he sticks with it, and when things shift (as they always do), he adapts without missing a beat. In the relatively short time I’ve known him, he’s been consistently kind, approachable, and ready to lend a hand whenever needed. A small but memorable example: after I spent months trying to unlock a cabinet with every key imaginable, I called Jeff for help. Within minutes, he was ready to help me, and when we realized that the cabinet had been unlocked the entire time, Jeff could have laughed, teased me, or turned it into a running joke. Instead, he simply smiled and said, “We all have bad days.” That moment perfectly reflects his patience and kindness.

Jeff’s steady presence, positive attitude, and commitment to serving others make a meaningful difference across MCAS every single day. Congratulations, Jeff, and thank you for everything you do to keep our Pack connected and moving forward!
