Title I is a federal grant program provided to enhance student achievement. Title I provides services to assist students in meeting or exceeding rigorous state academic standards.
Michigan City Area Schools' Title I program serves students district-wide in grades K-8, at all eight elementary and two middle schools.
Non-Public Title I Schools:
Students served must meet eligibility requirements for academic need, and must reside within the geographic boundaries for Michigan City Area Schools. The three non-public Title I schools are:
- Notre Dame
- St. Stanislaus Catholic
- Queen of all Saints
