Procedure for Seeing the Nurse:

Students who become ill should report to their teacher and obtain a pass before going to the nurse.
All students with a personal injury, other than one of an emergency nature, must have a pass to the clinic from their teacher.
No student will be sent home unless a parent or guardian is contacted by the nurse.

Immunization Requirements

MCAS Health Services Immunizations Requirements.

State law requires that when a student is in a school corporation for the first time, or any subsequent time and at any level, the parents must show either that the student has been immunized or that a current religious or medical objection is on file. Parents must provide the school corporation with complete immunization records prior to the beginning of the school year. (Please note that beginning with the 2019-20 school year, parents of students entering kindergarten at MCAS must also provide documentation that their child has had a lead-level screening test.)
