Become a Gold Card Member

There are so many exciting events that take place in and around Michigan City Area Schools, most of which are open to the public. From football games to theater, from JROTC competitions to tennis matches, and from band or music concerts to swim meets, there’s always something to attend.

Read on to learn about the benefits, if you qualify, and how to enroll.

Who Can Participate?

Any Michigan City resident within the MCAS attendance boundary, age 60 or older, can get their very own MCAS Gold Card.

The Gold Card is a great idea for people who:

  • have grandkids who participate in school arts or athletics,
  • are MCAS alumni who enjoy seeing the Wolves in action,
  • want to enjoy a night out at a performance, concert, or play

How it Works

The Gold Card provides free admission to home athletic and performing arts events at all MCAS schools. For admission to events, Gold Card holders simply show their card at the gate.

An ID is required when presenting the card for admission.

How To Participate

If you would like to get a Gold Card, visit the MCAS Administration Building at (219) 873-2000 during business hours. During the school year, we are open Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 3:00 pm. You must provide a valid ID and proof of residency.

The Administration Building is located at 408 S. Carroll Ave., Michigan City, IN, 46360.

Terms & Conditions

The Gold Card is valid for admission to MCAS home events only. It is not valid for away events, Indiana High School Athletic Association (IHSAA) or Duneland Athletic Conference (DAC) tournaments, Indiana State School Music Association (ISSMA) or Indiana High School Color Guard Association (IHSCGA) events, MCHS Graduation, or any non-MCAS-sponsored events.

The Gold Card is non-transferable and must be presented with a valid ID for admission. The card is valid only for the named cardholder and does not include admission for guests.
