Ambassador Program

The MCAS Ambassador Program is a seven-session behind-the-scenes look at our school district. It is open to community members who would like to learn more about our schools and what we do!

Throughout the program, ambassadors will explore a variety of topics, including finances, operations, curriculum and instruction, student services, and more. Sessions are thoughtfully planned and led by MCAS staff and students, who work hard to share their expertise and experiences.

Ambassadors are asked to commit to attending at least 6 of the 7 sessions to ensure continuity and to honor the time and preparation of those leading the experience.

Most sessions are on Thursday mornings from 9:00-11:00 a.m., with breakfast provided and networking prior to the sessions, beginning at 8:30 a.m. Please refer to the schedule below for specific dates and times. In the event of a school delay or cancellation, the session will be rescheduled for the following Thursday at the same time.

As guests in our buildings and in our classrooms, Ambassadors are required to follow all district safety protocols and complete a background check prior to participation.

In order to provide a personalized, hands-on experience, each cohort is limited to 25 participants. Interested community members must submit an application, which becomes available each year in May. Preference will be given to those living within the MCAS attendance boundaries; however, having a student enrolled in MCAS is not required.
